Unlike Wikipedia, Offipedia focuses exclusively on topics for its target audience, people who work or will work in the office or are facilitating it. Another difference is that Offipedia is moderated to ensure objectivity and quality. Additionally, on Offipedia there is the possibility of adding video clips to topics.

The management and implementation was transferred to the Offiano Foundation when Offipedia was established.

Providing information:
- texts: can be submitted as Word or PDF files, with possible references to the corresponding images
- images: not enclosed in document(s), preferably as jpg file, suitable for display on website
- photos with text: separately from document(s), preferably as png file, suitable for display on website
- logos: preferably as svg file, otherwise as png file, suitable for display on website
- video: only the url of the video on an existing video platform such as Vimeo, YouTube, etc. Please contact us if a video is not (yet) available on a video platform
